A Note From the Aquatic Director

The Walnut Creek Swim Team in Des Moines, Iowa! We feature
two teams within our program:

• Our Competitive Swim Team attends 10-12 swim meets throughout the season, November- April. Meets are typically on Saturdays and run an average of 4-6 hours. We will have a State Qualifying Meet in February, State Championship Meet in March and the Midwest Regional Meet in March/April. Practice begins October 19, 2009 – March 25, 2010.
  
  
• Our WC Wavemakers Team is non-competitive and is a
  great starting point for beginning swimmers who would
  like to swim competitively in the future. Our Wavemakers attend practices separate from the Competitive Team, several days a week.

Our coaches and families bring a high level of commitment to our program! Parents of our swimmers volunteer to run every home meet, from timers to concessions, computer operators and more. Check out our website to learn more about our Swimming Family!
